Advanced Stand-Up with Kirsten Michelle Cills
Winter 2026 Session
Take your stand-up to the next level in this intensive, performance-focused class designed for comedians who already have stage experience and want to sharpen their voice, writing, and delivery.
Through advanced writing exercises, live performance, and detailed feedback, you’ll learn how to turn good jokes into strong material—and strong material into a compelling comedy set. The class explores joke construction, act-outs, storytelling, callbacks, transitions, crowd work, stage presence, timing, persona, and the art of building a cohesive point of view.
Who it's for
Anyone who has been performing comedy for at least 6 months.

Graduation showcase: Saturday, December 19 at 4 pm

Street parking is available. There are stairs to get into the space, and the venue is not wheelchair accessible.
Cost
$300. Class is capped at 10 students.
