Stand-up 101 with Betty Smithsonian

Ever thought about trying stand-up comedy? Now is your chance! Come spend Sundays with Manny Brown and learn the ins and outs of stand-up comedy. This 5-week class will include the basics of writing, delivery and performance. We will work on finding your comedic voice, structuring jokes, and generating material from the ground up. The class will culminate with a class show where you can show off your first 5-minute set!

Our Stand-Up Comedy 101 Classes and Advanced Workshops are taught by working comedians and teachers who will help you learn the craft of stand-up, get stage time, receive direct feedback, and finish with a live graduation show in front of a real audience.
